FAQ
Do I need a piano at home? +
Yes — regular practice between lessons is essential. A full-size acoustic or digital piano with weighted, touch-sensitive keys is recommended. Mrs. Katie can advise on suitable instruments for your budget.
What is the cancellation policy? +
Please give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Lessons cancelled with less notice may be charged at the full rate. Life happens — just communicate and we'll work together.
Do you teach adults? +
Absolutely. Adult learners are always welcome, whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the piano after years away, or looking to refine existing skills.
How often should lessons be scheduled? +
Weekly lessons are strongly recommended for consistent progress. Bi-weekly lessons are available but tend to slow development, especially for beginners.
Are online lessons available? +
Online lessons are available for occasional sessions when in-person attendance isn't possible. A stable internet connection and a camera showing your hands and keyboard are required.
