Meet Mrs. Katie.

Katie Sneller has dedicated more than 25 years to the art of piano teaching, guiding students from their very first notes all the way through advanced performance. With a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Union University, she brings both deep musical knowledge and genuine warmth to every lesson.

She began her teaching career at the Memphis Music Academy in 2000, where she developed a reputation for making foundational technique accessible and enjoyable for young learners. From 2005 to 2010, she taught at the Bartlett School of Music, where she introduced new instructional approaches and organized student recitals that became a highlight of the academic calendar.

In 2010, she established her own private studio — Mrs. Katie's Piano Studio — right here in Bartlett. What started as a handful of students has grown through word of mouth into a thriving community of music learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Mrs. Katie believes that every student has a unique musical voice, and that her job is simply to help it emerge. Whether your child is picking up the instrument for the first time, or you're an adult who has always wanted to learn, she meets students exactly where they are — with patience, encouragement, and a deep respect for their individual pace.
